Angela Robinson joined Pursley Lowery Meeks as an associate on the condemnation team in 2009. Ms. Robinson has over five years of experience practicing eminent domain law from the condemnor perspective. Prior to joining Pursley Lowery Meeks, Ms. Robinson represented the Georgia Department of Transportation and other condemning authorities in eminent domain related proceedings, including pre-condemnation acquisitions, interlocutory hearings, mediations, and jury trials. Ms. Robinson has brought this unique experience to the condemnation team and now specializes in representing private land owners in condemnations and acquisitions initiated by the Georgia Department of Transportation, as well as other condemning authorities at the state, county and local government level.
Ms. Robinson was born in Dalton, Georgia in 1975 and was raised in Atlanta. Ms. Robinson attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where she graduated in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science in Management and a Certificate in Finance. She received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, cum laude, in 2003. During law school, Ms. Robinson was a member of the Moot Court Board and Federalist Society. While at Georgia State, she received the prestigious CALI AWARD for achieving the highest grade in Corporations, Georgia Practice and Procedure and Bankruptcy, and was a finalist in the College of Law's Appellate Advocacy Competition. Ms. Robinson is a member of the State Bar of Georgia's Eminent Domain Section, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
