Mr. Van De Water is a litigation partner with the firm who represents clients in construction and business disputes and health providers in medical malpractice actions.
Mr. Van De Water received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1993. Mr. Van De Water received his Juris Doctor in 1996 from Northeastern University School of Law and was a visiting student at Emory University School of Law from 1995-1996.
Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Macon Judicial Circuit for the Honorable Martha C. Christian and the Honorable Phillip S. Brown. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Van De Water practiced general civil litigation, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, securities litigation and products liability defense in Georgia.
He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Associations, Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Eleventh and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
